Workshop Cancellation Policy
Because all of our projects are custom and made just for you, we’re not able to offer refunds on workshop registrations. If something comes up and you let us know at least 3 days before your class, we’ll happily transfer your registration to a future workshop (within 90 days).
Late Notice Cancellation: Any notice given less than 3 days prior to a workshop is non-refundable. If the workshop was for painted 3D signs, we can set aside the materials for you to pick up and make at home.
No Show Policy: If you miss your workshop and don’t give us a heads-up in advance, unfortunately, you’ll forfeit that session. We prep everything just for you, so we really appreciate the notice!
Private Party Cancellation Policy: A deposit is due when booking your private party and will go towards your party’s total due balance. Deposits are non refundable. In the event the workshop is cancelled, the deposit will be refunded only if the date/time is rebooked.
For private parties, we require all attendees to register and provide complete customization information for their project at least 72 hours in advance so we can prepare the materials for your party.
Other Cancellation Policies
If we ever need to cancel or reschedule a workshop due to something unexpected, we’ll let all registered guests know as soon as possible. If this happens, you’ll have the option to join the rescheduled class or attend the same workshop within 90 days, using the original materials we prepped for you.
Liability Disclaimer
If a workshop ever needs to be canceled, postponed, or changed, our responsibility is limited to the amount you paid for that class. We’re not able to cover any additional costs or losses beyond the workshop fee.
If materials have already been made, you’re also welcome to stop by and pick them up to DIY at home—no packaging fee will apply when the cancellation is on our end.
To make sure we can give you the best experience, we do require at least 6 guests to run a workshop. If a class doesn’t meet that minimum, Create, Make & Mingle may need to cancel. Don’t worry—we’ll reach out and offer you a new date or a full refund.
Running behind on signing up? We get it! Late registration requests are handled case-by-case and depend on how much time we have, staff availability to prep your materials, and if we still have a seat open for you.
Private Party Terms & Conditions:
There’s no fee to host a private event or kids party with us! Each guest can simply pay for their own project, or you’re welcome to cover the cost for everyone—it’s totally up to you. The overall price will depend on which project(s) you choose.
To lock in your date and time, we require a 20% deposit based on your estimated headcount. This deposit goes toward your total and helps us prep everything just right for your group. Please note—deposits are non-refundable.
The total is due 72 hours prior to the workshop date.
Feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks to the party—alcohol is welcome too, as long as everyone in your group is 21 or older. Just don’t forget to bring along any plates, cups, or utensils you’ll need!
During kids parties, a responsible adult is required to attend.
Small Group? No Problem!
If you’ve got a group but don’t meet the minimum for a private event (15 people on weekends), we can usually seat you together at your own table during one of our public workshops. It’s a great way to still enjoy the experience as a group—just without the private booking!
Guest registration policy: To make sure everything’s ready to go for your party, we ask that all guests register and submit their project details at least 72 hours in advance. This helps us prep all the custom materials just right! Late registrations (after the 72-hour mark) will include a $20 rush fee.

But if your workshop was a custom 3D painting party—we’ve got you covered! Your project will be set aside for 7 days so you can stop by and pick it up to finish at home (a $10 packaging fee applies). Or, feel free to join us during one of our Open Paint days to complete it in the studio!
