Paint & Mingle Projects
Join us for DIY painted projects in our paint & mingle workshops! All projects are precision-cut from high-quality 3mm MDF or Baltic Birch plywood and come ready for you to paint and personalize.
Paint & Mingle is a relaxed, self-paced crafting time in the studio where you can choose your favorite project and make it your own! We prepare all the wood pieces ahead of time so when you arrive, everything is ready for you to paint, assemble, and customize with your colors and style.
No experience is needed — we’ll guide you along the way. Just pick your project, choose a date, and come enjoy a creative time making something beautiful! You don’t need to arrive at the beginning, just give yourself enough time to finish your piece (1.5 hrs to 3 hrs for interchangeable projects).
Please Note: If your sign will be displayed outdoors, please spray it at home with a clear sealant such as polyurethane or polycrylic to protect it from the weather. We’re unable to spray in the studio.

✨ Studio Painting Minimum
All in-studio painting has a $25 per person minimum. Don’t worry—the prices you see here already include that base fee.
When you check out, your selected project will show an added amount on top of the $25, which brings it to the final price listed on this page.

Interchangeable Projects
Interchangeable projects allow you to switch out seasonal pieces throughout the year. On the order page they are separated into 3″ Rounds and Bases, Gnomes, Trucks, Porch leaners, 14″ Rounds, and window boxes.
3″ Interchangeables
Base and 3 interchangeable rounds are included in base prices:
- Vertical Sign, Camper, Welcome to Classroom, Welcome to Office/Home, Shaker Tea Light, Front Porch Scene = $45
- Gnome and Mini Standing Sign = $40
- Saltbox House and Home Sweet Home = $50
Additonal rounds are available to add on for $5 each (in groups of 3). If you already have a base you can purchase only addons in groups of 5, 7, or 9.
Framed Interchangeables Designs & Prices
Basic frame or scalloped-edged frames are available in 6″, 8″, and 11″ sizes.
- 6″ frame with 2 inserts = $25
- 8″ frame with 2 inserts = $35
- 11″ frame with 2 inserts = $50
Additional inserts are available for those who want more or already have the base.
Shape Interchangeables
- Truck or Basket 12″ Interchangeable Base including one insert = $45
- Additional inserts are $10 each
- Gnome Set: 9″ 2 piece set including 2 interchangeable hats & front pieces each = $50
- Each additional 2 pc set for both gnome bases is $12 each.
- Dog or Cow: 9″ base with 2 interchangeable sets = $40

Info about Dog Leash Hanger Signs
Celebrate your furry friends with a custom dog silhouette leash holder! For your open paint workshop, you’ll select your dog(s) from a curated collection of 60 silhouettes, paint your sign, and add your dog’s name(s) for a truly personalized piece. Perfect for your entryway, mudroom, or as a gift for dog lovers.
Customization: Pick the type of dog from 60 dog silhouettes and provide the pup’s names, type of font, and size!

Info about Contour Lake Signs
- Folsom Lake – 10×10 ($72)

These designs come with a wood box frame so the edges of the layers will not be visible, giving it a clean, finished look ready to hang.
Larger Statement Pieces
- Folsom Lake – 11×13 ($88)
- Lake Tahoe – 11×17 ($98)
These feature a ½-inch top border detail (no outer frame), allowing the layered construction to be slightly visible from the side for a dimensional, artistic look.
Materials & Construction
- The engraved lake outline layer is cut from 1/8″ Baltic birch plywood.
- All additional contour layers are cut from 1/8″ MDF.
We use Baltic birch for the engraved layer because it is real wood and provides beautiful natural character. Because it is real wood, variations will occur — some engraving areas may appear darker, lighter, thicker, or slightly varied in tone. We take every precaution to keep engraving consistent, but wood grain naturally affects the final appearance.
The remaining layers are cut from MDF, which is more uniform and provides smooth, consistent paint coverage.
