Cricut 102: 4 Part Intermediate Cricut Class
May 28 @ 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
Ready to move beyond the basics and really use your Cricut?
Cricut 102 is designed for makers who have completed our 101 class (or already feel comfortable navigating Cricut Design Space and operating their machine).
This faster-paced, intermediate series focuses on practical skills you’ll actually use — learning new materials, improving your accuracy, and gaining confidence editing projects instead of just clicking “Make It.”
Over four sessions, you’ll complete a variety of projects while learning techniques that apply to dozens of future creations.
What We’ll Make & Learn
Glass Etching + Project Editing
Create an etched glass project while learning how to modify designs inside Design Space — including editing files to work for layered and shaker-style projects. We’ll also go over using the foil transfer system and applying iron-on vinyl to cardstock!
Cardstock will be provided. Please bring a glass to etch (Dollar Tree has a ton of different options that work great!)

Stickers & Print-Then-Cut Mastery
Create kiss-cut and die-cut stickers, both individual and sticker sheets.
We’ll cover sizing, bleed, calibration, material settings, and getting clean cuts! 2 sticker sheets provided.

Signs Two Ways
Learn two popular sign-making techniques:
• Using vinyl as a paint stencil
• The PPVP (reverse stencil layered vinyl) method
You’ll understand when to use each and how to get crisp professional results. Wood and paint are provided.

Handwriting & Heirloom Projects
Turn handwriting or a favorite recipe into a usable cut file and create a personalized keepsake piece. This class will also go over using Infusible Ink. However, you will most likely be working with either adhesive vinyl or iron-on vinyl, depending on the blank you bring.

** Please Note: Projects may rotate from session to session and are not guaranteed to be taught in the order listed below.
Additional Techniques Covered Throughout the Series
We’ll also work with and troubleshoot:
• Foil transfer
• Infusible Ink
• Iron-On (HTV) on cardstock
• Cardstock projects
• Machine calibration & accuracy tips
Who This Class Is For
This is not a beginner class.
Students should already:
• Know how to open and use Cricut Design Space without much help.
• Load/unload mats and materials
• Perform basic cuts and weeding
This course moves at an intermediate pace and focuses on skill-building rather than step-by-step basics.
By the end of the series, you won’t just follow tutorials — you’ll understand how to adapt projects to work for you.
Since several project blanks are included, this series is priced a bit higher than the last one;)
NOTE: This class is every Thursday morning from 11am-1pm starting on May 28th, then June 4th, 11th, and 18th.
