15 Years of Cricut Crafting & Counting!

Amy has been crafting with Cricut machines for over 15 years—yes, all of them! From the original Expression to the latest Maker, Joy, and Venture, she’s had hands-on experience with every generation of Cricut.

For the past 7 years, she’s also been part of the official Cricut Influencer Team, giving her the chance to test new products, share tips, and connect with makers around the world.

Through her website and YouTube channel, Leap of Faith Crafting, Amy’s taught hundreds of thousands of crafters how to use their machines with confidence. She’s also taught at over a dozen virtual Cricut summits—but now she’s bringing that experience to life right here in her DIY craft studio!

Thinking about a Cricut?! Start Here - For Free! Curious about Cricut but not sure where to start? Join us for a free introductory class where you’ll get a hands-on look at the different machines, tools, and materials available. I’ll walk you through what each machine does, the types of projects you can create—from custom shirts to home decor—and answer all your Cricut questions. It’s the perfect way to see everything in person before deciding if a Cricut is right for you. No pressure—just crafting inspiration and a fun, friendly space to explore!

Cricut Deep Dive: A 4-Part Creative Series

Ready to take your Cricut skills to the next level? This 4-part class series is perfect for beginners who want more guided practice and a deeper understanding of what their machine can do. In Class 1, we’ll cover the basics and take a deeper dive into Cricut Design Space so you can confidently navigate the software. Then, in the next three classes, you’ll get hands-on and make a new project each week using different materials: ✨ Adhesive vinyl (decals & signs) 👕 Iron-on vinyl (custom shirts or totes) 🎨 Cardstock (cards & 3D crafts) Each session builds your skills step-by-step, and you’ll leave with finished projects and practical knowledge you can use at home. Please bring a laptop to get the most out of your learning experience!

Boost your Cricut confidence in this hands-on series! We’ll start with a deeper look at Cricut Design Space, then create a new project each week using adhesive vinyl, iron-on, and cardstock.

Class 1: Cricut Basics & Design Space Overview

Start your Cricut journey with a solid foundation! In this class, we’ll cover the essentials of your Cricut machine and introduce you to Cricut Design Space—the software that brings your ideas to life. You’ll learn how to navigate the tools, set up projects, and prepare your machine for cutting. This session sets you up for success and confidence as you dive into crafting.
Bring your laptop for hands-on practice and personalized guidance.

Class 2: Crafting with Adhesive Vinyl

In this class, we’ll focus on cutting and applying adhesive vinyl—perfect for making custom decals, signs, mugs, and more. You’ll learn how to prep your design, cut, weed, and transfer it like a pro. **Materials are provided, but please bring a blank (like a mug, tile, glass, or anything smooth) to apply your decal on.
Bring your laptop and Cricut machine for hands-on practice and personalized guidance.

Class 3: Creating with Iron-On Vinyl (HTV)

In this class, we’ll dive into the world of iron-on vinyl (HTV)—perfect for customizing shirts, totes, and fabric projects. You’ll learn how to design, mirror, cut, weed, and properly apply HTV using a heat press. **Materials are provided, but please bring a blank such as a t-shirt, tote bag, or other fabric item to apply your design on.

Class 4: Crafting with Cardstock & Cricut Pens

Let’s wrap up the series with some paper crafting fun! In this class, you’ll learn how to work with cardstock and use Cricut pens to add personalized touches to your projects. We’ll be making a custom card from start to finish—perfect for gifts, celebrations, or just because.
All materials are provided, and as always, bring your laptop and Cricut machine to follow along in Cricut Design Space.
