15 Years of Cricut Crafting & Counting!
Amy has been crafting with Cricut machines for over 15 years—yes, all of them! From the original Expression to the latest Maker, Joy, and Venture, she’s had hands-on experience with every generation of Cricut.
For the past 7 years, she’s also been part of the official Cricut Influencer Team, giving her the chance to test new products, share tips, and connect with makers around the world.
Through her website and YouTube channel, Leap of Faith Crafting, Amy has taught hundreds of thousands of crafters how to use their machines with confidence. She’s also spoken and taught at over a dozen virtual Cricut summits and is the author of The Unofficial Book of Christmas Cricut Crafts, sharing creative inspiration with makers everywhere.

Cricut 101 and 102 can be enrolled in directly, while personalized coaching sessions are scheduled after submitting a request below.
NOTE: All of these classes and one-on-one sessions work with Cricut Explore family, Maker family, Joy, Joy Xtra, and Venture machines. Unfortunately, I don’t offer support for the older Expression models that use cartridges.
Cricut 4 Week Classes
Cricut 101: A 4-Part Beginner Series
Ready to take your Cricut skills to the next level? This 4-part class series is perfect for beginners who want more guided practice and a deeper understanding of what their machine can do. In Class 1, we’ll cover the basics and take a deeper dive into Cricut Design Space so you can confidently navigate the software. Then, in the next three classes, you’ll get hands-on and make a new project each week using different materials:
- ✨ Adhesive vinyl (decals & signs)
- 👕 Iron-on vinyl (custom shirts or totes)
- 🎨 Cardstock (cards from scratch)
Each session builds your skills step-by-step, and you’ll leave with finished projects and practical knowledge you can use at home.

Cricut 102: Take Your Skills to the Next Level – 4-Week Series
Ready to move beyond the basics and really use your Cricut? Cricut 102 is designed for makers who have completed our 101 class (or already feel comfortable navigating Cricut Design Space and operating their machine).
This faster-paced, intermediate series focuses on practical skills you’ll actually use — learning new materials, improving your accuracy, and gaining confidence editing projects instead of just clicking “Make It.” Over four sessions, you’ll complete a variety of projects while learning techniques that apply to dozens of future creations.:- 💌 Project Editing & Card Making: Refresh Design Space skills and create a personalized card, learning how to edit and adapt projects in Design Space like a pro. In this class we will also go over using foil transfer and applying iron on vinyl to cardstock
- 🪵 DIY Signs: Make two signs using vinyl as a stencil and the PVPP technique. Stain a wood square for the stencil and we'll use a 2x4 scrap for the PVPP sign.
- ✍️ Handwriting Projects with Iron-On Vinyl & Glass Etching: Bring a shirt, hat, tea towel, or any item to personalize and turn handwriting into a vinyl design. Then you will etch a glass!
- 📄 Sticker Making: Design and cut your own stickers — each student gets 2 sticker sheets to print in class. Create kiss-cut and die-cut stickers, both individual and sticker sheets.
*Most materials are provided, including cardstock for cards, the wood for signs, and sticker sheets. If you want to use your own wood or special items, feel free to bring them. By the end of the series, you’ll have multiple completed projects and the confidence to tackle new ideas on your own.

Planning a baby shower, bridal shower, birthday party, graduation party, or any other kind of event and want beautiful handmade details without the overwhelm? I’m here to help you design and create everything with confidence!
Event Design Session
Build It All in Design Space
In this focused 90-minute session, we’ll create and organize all of your shower designs directly inside Cricut Design Space so you can go home and cut everything with confidence.
Together, we will:
- Finalize your theme, colors, and overall look
- Design signs, banners, favor tags, cake toppers, shirts, and more directly in Design Space
- Choose fonts, sizing, spacing, and layouts that actually work when cut
- Organize and size each file correctly for your specific materials
- Create a clear supply list so you know exactly what to purchase (**see note below)
You’ll leave with fully designed, ready-to-cut files saved in your Cricut account — plus a clear, step-by-step plan to complete everything at home.
**If additional research is needed for specialty materials or specific product options, I may follow up after our session with a detailed supply list so you know exactly what to order.

Event Creation Session
Hands-on Help Making Your Party Details!
You’ve picked your theme. You have your ideas. Now you just need help making it all come together.
In this private working session, we’ll sit down and create your shower items side-by-side in the studio.

Class 1: Cricut Basics & Design Space Overview
Start your Cricut journey with a solid foundation! In this class, we’ll cover the essentials of your Cricut machine and introduce you to Cricut Design Space—the software that brings your ideas to life. You’ll learn how to navigate the tools, set up projects, and prepare your machine for cutting. This session sets you up for success and confidence as you dive into crafting.

Class 2: Crafting with Cardstock & Cricut Pens
In this class, you’ll learn how to work with cardstock and use Cricut pens to add personalized touches to your projects. We’ll be making a custom card from start to finish—perfect for gifts, celebrations, or just because.
All materials are provided, and as always, bring your laptop and Cricut machine to follow along in Cricut Design Space.
Class 3: Crafting with Adhesive Vinyl
IIn this class, we’ll focus on cutting and applying adhesive vinyl—perfect for making custom decals, signs, mugs, and more.
You’ll learn how to prep your design, cut, weed, and transfer it like a pro.
**Materials are provided, but please bring a blank (like a mug, tile, glass, or anything smooth) to apply your decal on.

Class 4: Creating with Iron-On Vinyl (HTV)
In this class, we’ll dive into the world of iron-on vinyl (HTV)—perfect for customizing shirts, totes, and fabric projects. You’ll learn how to design, mirror, cut, weed, and properly apply HTV using a heat press.
**Materials are provided, but please bring a blank such as a t-shirt, tote bag, or other fabric item to apply your design on.

**Booking & Cancellation Policy
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your session date. Dates are not held without payment.
Remaining balance is due prior to your session.
Rescheduling requires at least 72 hours’ notice and is subject to availability. One reschedule is permitted within 60 days of the original booking.
Cancellations made within 72 hours of the session are non-refundable.
No-shows forfeit all payments.
